As a photographer for Fort Worth courthouse weddings, I've compiled an easy-to-understand list of steps to follow while planning your courthouse wedding.
Grab your lover and go in person (or online) to get your marriage license.
This license is valid for 90 days so plan your ceremony date accordingly.
Visit the Tarrant County Courthouse's wedding page to apply for a license.
When getting married at the Tarrant County Courthouse, you'll need to set an appointment for your marriage ceremony. They only take appointments M-F, 8am-4:30p.
Take a look at your calendar, check in with your photographer, and pick your favorite date!
Call the Tarrant County Courthouse to set your date. (817) 884-1111
Don't forget, you'll need to bring $100 (cash only) for your ceremony.
This is the moment you two are getting married, and it deserves to be rightly celebrated.
I'm a photographer (I live just 20 minutes from the Tarrant County Courthouse) and my couples have chosen a courthouse ceremony for many reasons.
They're planning a huge wedding for the future, but want to be married now.
They are having their wedding celebration out of the country, but making it official here.
They just up and decided it's their time!
Whatever your reason, I'll be right there ready to capture this special moment for you.
I have a flat rate courthouse wedding package that's $950 and covers portraits before your ceremony, the ceremony, and family/couples pictures following.
You also get sneak peeks within 24 hours and the full gallery delivered to you in 4 weeks!
