If you’re looking for the best place to elope in Fort Worth, consider the Tarrant County Courthouse in downtown Fort Worth!
Top 3 Reasons to Elope at the Fort Worth Courthouse
1. It’s affordable
With the ceremony being $100 and photography being >$1000, you save a lot of money with a courthouse wedding.
2. You can invite 14 guests
The Fort Worth Courthouse allows you up to 14 guests. That’s 14 more than most other courthouses!
3. You can choose your own photographer
If you find a photographer you love, you can bring them to photograph your courthouse elopement. It’s always best to choose someone who has photographed at the courthouse so they’re aware of the restrictions. But there are a handful of photographers, like myself, who specialize in Fort Worth elopements at the courthouse.

I’m a photographer (I live just 20 minutes from the Tarrant County Courthouse so last-minute ceremonies are super doable for me) and my couples have chosen a courthouse ceremony for many reasons:
They decided the months of planning an expensive wedding wasn’t for them.
They’re planning a huge wedding for the future, but want to be married now.
They are having their wedding celebration out of the country, but making it official here.
Whatever your reason, I’ll be right there ready to capture this special moment for you.
