Getting Ready Spaces at The Grand Ivory
The Bride’s Cottage
The Grand Ivory’s bridal cottage offers a secluded and cozy ambiance, adorned with timeless decor, and is nestled beside the property’s scenic pond. This space boasts a spacious lounge, ideal for you and your wedding party and family to congregate, three dressing stations, an elegant full-length mirror on a stand, a premium half-bath, and a fully-equipped mini bar.
A highlight of the cottage is its pair of French doors leading out to a private balcony with views of the pond. These can be opened to welcome a gentle breeze as you get ready for your momentous occasion. Another beloved detail is the cabin’s front porch, fitted with a vintage daybed, an ideal location for bridal snapshots and event-day photography. The cottage is thoughtfully arranged with numerous photogenic spots, both inside and out.
My personal favorite part of The Grand Ivory bridal cottage is the swing! (See cute photo of my bride and her girls below!)
The Groom’s Cottage
Most venues go all out on a bridal cottage and give little thought to a groom’s room. Lucky for you, The Grand Ivory does things a little differently.
The Grand Ivory’s special cottage for grooms has been crafted to offer the perfect retreat for your groom and his friends. (And great lighting for your photos!) He can kick back and catch a match on the big TV or play pool with the boys before heading out to your first look.
The cottage comes with a complete bathroom and also a wet bar. Positioned atop the estate’s hill, the groom’s retreat guarantees seclusion from the bride and her entourage prior to the vows or first look.
The Grand Ivory Ceremony and Reception Spaces
The Grand Ivory Barn
Perfect for an indoor-ceremony or reception, the Grand Ivory Barn is 6,500 square feet and can comfortably accommodate up to 275 guests.
“The ivory wood paneled walls, ceilings and white washed cedar beams create the perfect blank canvas for you to create your dream event. Four sets of French doors in the barns interior open out to the barns porch, capturing the breathtaking views of the property from every seat. The barn features an entry foyer, caterers prep kitchen and bathrooms for you and your guest.

The Grand Ivory Chapel
The Grand Ivory Chapel can accommodate up to 250 guests. My favorite part about the grand ivory chapel is that it’s indoor-outdoor so if it rains, you don’t have to worry about losing your gorgeous view or making a last minute plan to switch your ceremony indoors.
It’s also got the best view of the sunset for portraits following the ceremony.

Best Time of Year to get Married at The Grand Ivory Texas Wedding Venue
With the indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces, you can get married at any time of the year and know that it’ll be beautiful. The only timeframe I don’t recommend getting married in Texas is early-mid February as we’ve had ice and snow consistently for a few years at that time, making traveling difficult and dangerous. Consider this if you have guests coming from out of town/state/country.

My average booking is around $4600 for photography coverage from getting ready to the final exit. This ensures we can capture all of the parts of your day how they deserve — fully and candidly. While that is my average booking price, I do have dialed back and expanded options as well.
